Collections of Patrick Kelly's poems - Ballads (1922), The Salley Ring (1941), and Poems from Connemara (1977) - have been out of print for many years. However, a new collection Derryclare and Other Poems from Connemara – Patrick Kelly, Cashel’s Poet was published in 2023. The book is a compilation of his poetry, some recently discovered by the editor, Eileen Miller, among the Patrick Kelly Papers at the Kenneth Spencer Research Library at the University of Kansas. Also included are excerpts from his articles in The Dublin Magazine, quotes from letters to and from the poet, as well as excerpts from published commentaries on his work. The book is presented with photographs of some of the Connemara scenes that were the subject of his poems of place.
